DeWitt Conover was President of the Trenton Ski Club during its tenth year, 1961-62. He was one of the Club's most active members. DeWitt died in a car crash, a few weeks prior to his being honored at the Club's annual Dinner Dance. His wife Barbara remembered DeWitt's great interest in the Club's committees and donated a trophy-plaque in his memory to be awarded to the best committee each year. The Club has continued this award.
